Introduction

303 stainless steel is an austenitic type free-cutting stainless steel wear-resistant acid steel. To improve the performance of the steel, no more than 0.60% of molybdenum can be added to the steel to resist ablation.

303 stainless steel mechanical properties after annealing and stress relief, tensile resistance 515MPa, yield 205MPa, elongation 40%. Stainless steel 303 has a standard hardness of HRB 90-100, HRC 20-25, Note: HRB100 = HRC22.9.
